This one means a little more to us.

We were called out to a residential home after a large honey bee colony made its home inside the soffit. Once we opened it up, we discovered a massive hive filled with honey, comb, brood, and thousands of bees.

we carefully removed and relocated the hive, giving these bees a second chance while protecting the homeowner from future damage.

After the rescue, we sealed the structure to prevent re-entry and have the home scheduled for repairs and restoration.

This project was completed in partnership with Hives for Heroes, an incredible organization that connects veterans with beekeeping while helping save pollinators and support mental wellness through purpose and community.

At M.R. Recon Projects, we believe in solving problems the right way. Sometimes that means protecting a home. Sometimes it means protecting a hive. And sometimes it means supporting fellow veterans while doing both.

This project was built from the ground up by the M.R. Recon Projects team, including site preparation, structural framing, custom cedar finishes, windows, doors, and polycarbonate installation.
