Friends! We are collaborating with for a movie screening of Maquilapolis: City of Factories and beading workshop!

⭐️ join us for a documentary screening of Maquilapolis:City of Factories. This film follows the stories of several women living in Tijuana, their experience as factory workers in outsourcing factories, intimate experiences of the environmental impacts of the factories on their communities, investigating themes of exploitation, human costs of globalization, and women’s labor.

⭐️ following the film screening, we will have Maria Aschenbrener offering a flower earring beading workshop and simultaneously facilitating discussion around the film.

⭐️ snacks provided! 6-9pm, drop ins welcome-but full time slot attendance encouraged.
