The Better Builds

This was an entire room remodel! Removed soffits, all new doors & trim, new floors, fresh paint, pendant lighting, a new pantry and turning the old one into a custom nook with a pop of green!

A huge transformation featuring a curved island with overhanging seating all around for a statement at all gatherings to come. The farmhouse sink, floating shelves with lighting, marble backsplash, and so many other details made this an all time favorite project!

Before and After: No major layout change but a refreshing update nonetheless

Designed and facilitated by Frameworks Custom Homes & Remodels : this was a fun kitchen to be a part of. This was one of the coolest countertops I have seen and the yellow backsplash is quite the statement. Granted I’m biased towards yellow (hence my company’s color).

Before and after on my most recent kitchen remodel along with upgrades to the bathroom vanities and hardware. Between undercabinet lighting and swapping out old can lights for flush mount LEDs throughout the home, the space lightened up despite the dark cabinets!

I can’t believe I forgot to post my deck from last fall! Building decks is where I got my start in construction with the master deck builders at Else Construction Inc. The only thing I was missing was Evan Else to pour concrete for me, race installing joist hangers, and jam out to The Bus (local Iowa radio station).
This was a fun one for some great clients. It also had a fun top cap on the railing to set drinks on for warm summer nights with company.

Out with the old in with the new. A fun stair banister update to metal railings. Modern and built to last!

Built-ins are the perfect way to tranform that odd space into a functional one with the added value of being a statement to all who pass by.
Plus, I love the color scheme the clients chose!

We saved some money painting the framing black, and it certainly breaks up all the wood on this red oak stair case in a cabin near Estes. Trim and other updates will come down the road!

Another fun kitchen remodel complete!

A nice sized coffee bar and matching side bar in the dining room. The side bar had a fun feature built in as a feeding station for the client’s kitty.

Every kitchen should have a coffee station near by! (Doubles as a serving station too)
