Little Gidding Free Library

This is the week!! Stop by for one last book, or bring one to share for our new neighborhood. You’ll see lots of activity around here for the next few days, but we’ll leave the box up until Thursday or Friday.

Some books taken, some books dropped off—including one curious transmutation! A copy of *The Magician’s Nephew* seems to have mysteriously changed covers. ;-)

New books hath appeared to keep company with last week’s additions. :-)

Little Gidding Free Library is moving! We (Laure and Jonathan) have lived here in Lake Sherwood Corporation at our little home, the Glossary, for over 17 years now, and while we have loved this neighborhood and our little home, we need more space for our dear and glorious family. So we are moving next month—not out of town, but to another neighborhood—and this little green box is coming with us.

You neighbors have been a wonderful little free library community. i (Laure) have enjoyed curating good books for Little Gidding, and i've delighted to see the scads of excellent books you all have contributed as well! It makes us a little sad to lose that partnership, but we have great hopes for putting up this little green box in our new neighborhood, and we hope that someone around Lake Sherwood might be interested in hosting or stewarding a new little library here. We don't know if the new owners of our corner lot will be up for that adventure, or if another spot would end up being best, but if you are interested in helping to keep a library going on this corner or nearby, please reach out! We'd love to help. You can message through this page, or text me (my number is posted on the box).

And we will still be around for another few weeks! i hope to run into some of you while we're here, and share a book or a smile or both.
