A big contributor to finding my inspiration to crochet again is the birth of my nephew. Having someone to make things for makes me happy. But even his arrival took a year to get my hook going. Mental health will takes it’s own sweet time.

I have gone a long time without really picking up a hook. A few years ago, I had a breakdown. Deep depression due to some life problems and panic attacks everyday at least. It triggered a whole move back to my parent’s house from where I lived in Chicago. Depression causes us to lose interest in our hobbies and things that made us happy before. But I’m slowly gaining myself back.

Yesterday was Wolfenoot! This lovely 7 yo in 🇳🇿 invented the holiday to celebrate all animals, but especially canines! Hug your house wolves tight this year!
