I was out delivering Blue Books today and saw this sign in someone’s yard. It’s the first one I’ve seen, and you have no idea how touched I was to see this! I am so honored to be your representative and so incredibly thankful for your support. If you saved your sign from last election, that’s great! If you didn’t, don’t worry, we are ordering more and will let you know when they get delivered.

Great night at Jones Park for Baseball Fest watching the Fort Atkinson Generals, from the beautiful 46th Assembly district, vs. the Jefferson Blue Devils from the 38th District in the Championship game. Rooting for different teams, but always great to see Terri Wenkman For WI Assembly!

The Knowles Nelson Stewardship Program has funded so many amazing projects in our state - including one of my favorites! The Glacial River Trail is a wonderful place to bike or walk. Unfortunately, because of Republican inaction, funding for this popular program runs out at the end of June. Our public lands deserve more, and I’m committed to fighting next session to ensure they get it!

Today I had the privilege of joining legislators, advocates, and families affected by gun violence for a press conference at the Capitol. Led by Senator LaTonya Johnson and Wisconsin State Representative Shelia Stubbs, the press conference called attention to the devastating impact of gun violence in our state and the need for common sense legislation that protects our communities. Wisconsinites shouldn’t have to live in fear of senseless gun violence.

As a former teacher and proud WEAC member, this endorsement means a lot to me!

Thank you to the Town Board of Christiana, Village Board of Cambridge, and the Town Board of Koshkonong for the opportunity to provide a state legislative update at your meetings this week. I always appreciate getting to talk directly with local elected officials about the issues our state and communities face. Next week I will be at the Rockdale Village Board meeting on June 15 and the Lake Mills City Council meeting on June 16. I hope to see you there!
