Legacy Machining LLC
Legacy Machining is set up to operate with agility allowing for both low-volume and high-volume CNC manufacturing. Legacy Machining, LLC. was born.
We continue to develop into a forward focused business that is committed to its customers. was founded in 2017 by Matt and April Biernacki. As an engineer, Matt was frustrated with the lack of support and communication that various local businesses offered. On that foundation, Legacy Machining, LLC. A customer came to us with a challenge:
They wanted a bead blasted part… with a shiny finish.
At first, it sounded impossible. Bead blasting is known for creating a matte texture — not a polished shine. But instead of saying “it can’t be done,” we got to work.
We collaborated with our finishing partners, and spent weeks testing different processes through trial and error. After countless adjustments, refinements, and experiments, we finally achieved the exact finish the customer envisioned.
That’s what sets LEGACY apart.
We don’t just machine parts — we solve problems.
✅ Expedited Service
✅ Custom Finishing Solutions
✅ Bead Blast + Anodize Expertise
✅ Quality You Expect
Sometimes innovation starts with a customer asking for something everyone else says can’t be done.

Excited to share the launch of our new Manufacturing Design Review program at Legacy Machining!
This program was built around the real-world manufacturing and machining experience that Matt brings to our team every day. With more than 10 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, combined with extensive machining expertise, Matt has built a strong reputation with our customers for identifying manufacturability improvements that lead to lower production costs, improved efficiency, and faster lead times.
One of the biggest challenges in manufacturing is discovering design issues too late in the process — after production has already started or when timelines are tight. Our Manufacturing Design Review program is focused on helping customers avoid those situations by identifying opportunities and potential concerns early in the design phase. Whether it’s improving part geometry, optimizing tolerances, simplifying setups, or recommending more efficient machining strategies, these proactive reviews can make a major impact on both cost and delivery performance.
Another key advantage of the program is the ability to support timely ECOs (Engineering Change Orders). By addressing design changes quickly and collaboratively, we can help customers keep projects moving forward, minimize delays, reduce unnecessary rework, and create a smoother path from concept to production.
It’s exciting to be part of a team that is committed to delivering more than just machined parts — we’re focused on providing value through collaboration, engineering insight, and manufacturing expertise that helps our customers succeed. Better designs truly lead to stronger results.

This acetal part kept our machines running at full capacity and filled our chip bins with "plastic snow" throughout the shop.
Once the "snow" was shoveled out, the result was a component with crisp features, tight tolerances, and a smooth finish.
Washers by the thousands! Keep it coming!

💨 Putting Health & Safety First in the Shop!
We’re giving a Royal FilterMist FX1200 mist collector a try on our production powerhouse Haas VF2SS Cobot machine.
It’s a used unit, but it works great — a smart, low-investment way to see how we can improve air quality and safety on the shop floor. 🛠️
Small steps like this make a big difference for our team, keeping everyone safe while we keep delivering precision parts.

🐾 From Design to Delivery — Every Part Matters (and Happy National Cat Day!)
When a new project comes in, we don’t just hit “start” on the machines.
Our owner, with over 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, reviews every part before programming begins, looking for ways to increase manufacturability without sacrificing quality. 🛠️
Once the parts reach the machines, they’re inspected in-process and again after production — because quality matters to us, and to our partners. ✅
We keep communication clear at every step, so you always know what’s happening. 💬
The result? Parts you can trust — and a vendor who feels like part of your team. 🤝
And today, we’re celebrating National Cat Day — can you find the hidden cat in this image? 🐱🔍
