It’s Pride month every month over here, but especially in June I think about my Momma. I imagine the joy she would have had knowing that she could legally marry whoever she loved, something she didn’t live long enough to see. Anytime I have the privilege to be part of a moment celebrating two souls so deeply in love, proudly proclaiming it to the world, is a good day in my book. Love is love is love is love—and it always wins. ✨

I’m not sure if it was the cozy backyard, catching up with friends, or bringing my own baby’s bassinet out since he used it last, but I could have lived in this moment forever. ✨
