Huge gratitude to the Jones Dairy Farm team for spending some time today at BASE building brand‑new bikes for our kids!
These bikes will launch our bike program, giving our BASE kids more ways to stay active, explore the bike trail & our community, and build confidence on wheels.
I bet they will even stop at the Jones Market when they are cruising about.

Tomorrow we open our doors for another summer but this one feels extra special. Our team has worked so hard for this moment!

- Licensed early childhood programming for ages 4–6
- Our first summer in our beautifully renovated elementary space
- Junior Staff opportunities for middle school kiddos as we look forward to our future goal of having a teen center.
This week’s theme is Community and we’re kicking things off by getting to know one another, building trust, and creating a safe, welcoming space with clear expectations so every child feels seen, supported, and ready to have fun.
Here’s to a bright first day and an unforgettable summer at BASE. Let’s do this! 🌟

The last week of school at BASE was packed with fun!
👟 Kids designed their own shoes on the interactive whiteboard, inspired by the speed and determination of Usain Bolt.
🍔 Hot Meal Wednesday turned into a special cookout with the City of Fort Atkinson, WI-Government to celebrate our 5th graders, complete with cake for a sweet treat.
🏞️ Students built their own rivers, drawing inspiration from Katherine Johnson, the NASA mathematician who helped map the path to the moon.
🍦 Ice cream sandwiches and 🤸♀️ bounce house fun wrapped up the very last day of school.
Operating out of our new facility during our 20th school year has been such a gift. Our programs continue to grow, try new things, and most importantly-create a place where kids have fun, feel supported, and thrive during the critical hours when school is out.
Our summer program starts Monday, and our team has worked incredibly hard to get here. We’re officially opening our early childhood rooms for ages 4–6, continuing our elementary program, and bringing back our Junior Staff Program for middle schoolers as a pilot toward our long‑term goal of a teen center.
Thank you to everyone who makes this possible. Our team, our kids, and our families are truly grateful 💙💚💜
