Meet the Artist: Iluiana Batea-Madea

Iluiana Badea-Matei is a passionate artist whose work explores themes of resilience, love, and the unbreakable bonds between generations. As a mother and cancer survivor, she draws inspiration from her personal journey, transforming challenges into vibrant and meaningful art. Each piece reflects her deep emotions and celebrates strength, sacrifice, and hope, offering a powerful narrative that resonates with viewers.

Meet the Artist: Flisha Stewart

Flisha Stewart, an inspiring artist from the Dallas,Texas area. Flisha is also an Inspirational Author. Her book is called “Butterflies Above My Head”. Flisha is also the illustrator of her book.

Flisha became aware of her creative art skill during art classes in middle school. She competed in several art shows during that time and landed a 1st place water color painting in the State Art Show. That beautiful painting was called “Swans in Action”. Her artwork gave her inspiration and joy to create. After school, one day, Flisha came home looking for some of her paintings to show. Flisha’s mother had been cleaning things out and had thrown away Flisha’s art. She did not think it meant anything to Flisha. Flisha’s heart was broken even after an apology from her mom. She stepped away from painting.

Fast forward some years, and after her children grew up, she picked up her painting skills. Flisha was inspired by a painting of a huge live size angel and a painting of a feather. This inspired her to begin painting. She finds joy in painting angels, feathers and flowers. Flisha began hosting paint parties to share her talent in painting angels. Flisha creates using water color, acrylics and oil paints. She adds touches with texturing, and glitter.

Recently, Flisha introduced to her daughter the art of doodling for meditation and relaxation. However, it was Flisha who soon fell in love with doodling abstract for relaxation, more than her daughter. These designs allow her to showcase her love for mixing vibrant colors in one design. Thus furthering Flisha to create from pencils, acrylic paint pens and water based - acid free paint pens.

Present day, Flisha steps back into showing her creations, sharing her inspiration and love for all the vibrant colors God created.
