North Forney FFA Chapter

We are less than 30 days away from the Forney ISD Fall Into Leadership LDE Invitational on Tuesday, October 20, 2026!

Since this is an after-school invitational, we will NOT be holding final rounds. Instead, awards will be given PER CONTEST ROOM. This allows us to recognize students while keeping the contest moving efficiently and getting everyone headed home at a reasonable time.

AWARDS
Awards will be given per contest room based on the results from that room. There will be no final round combining rooms.

• Top 5 Individuals

All others
• Top 2 Teams per room

ARRIVAL & TRAFFIC

We know traveling to an after-school contest can be tricky, and we want to work with schools as much as possible! Schools are welcome to arrive around 3:00 PM or after if they would like to get ahead of Forney traffic.

Forney High School dismisses at 4:15 PM, and campus traffic can be a little chaotic during dismissal. If your school needs to arrive a little later because of travel, buses, or traffic, please communicate with us. We will work with you!

Our goal is to provide students with another opportunity to compete, receive feedback, and prepare for district competition without making an after-school invitational unnecessarily complicated.

MONSTERS OF THE SHOW RING!

We are excited for the Forney Blue & Gold FFA Alumni Association’s Monsters of the Show Ring on Saturday, October 31st at the Kaufman County Fairgrounds!

This isn’t going to be your normal livestock show! Along with showing sheep, goats, swine, and cattle, we will have a costume contest for each species, Trunk or Treat, and vendors on site.

We will have buckles for our Overall Champions and banners for our Division Champions!

Barn opens at 12:00 PM, check-in is from 2:00–5:00 PM, the costume contest starts at 5:30 PM, and the show starts at 6:00 PM.

Get those animals entered and start thinking about costumes! We are excited to have a fun Halloween night while supporting our FFA members and agriculture programs.

FORNEY ISD FFA IS KICKING OFF THE YEAR!

We have had an exciting start to another great year of FFA, and we are so thankful for everyone who has already come out to support our students and programs!

FORNEY ISD FFA BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH

Last Tuesday night, we brought together our Forney FFA, North Forney FFA, Junior FFA members, families, advisors, and FFA Alumni for our annual Back-to-School Bash at the Forney ISD Animal Science Center!

Throughout the evening, students and families were able to register for FFA, pick up their chapter T-shirts, meet other members and families, enjoy FREE food, play games, and spend time getting to know our FFA community!

A HUGE thank you goes to Encanto Bounce House and Party Rental, LLC for donating their time and equipment for our students! The inflatables were definitely a hit, and we are incredibly grateful for your support of our FFA members and agriculture programs.

NORTH FORNEY HOMECOMING PARADE

Our North Forney FFA members also had the opportunity to represent our chapter and agriculture program in the North Forney Homecoming Parade!

We loved seeing our students show their Falcon pride while representing the blue and gold! Events like this give our members a chance to be visible in our school and community, promote agricultural education, and show everyone what FFA is all about.

Thank you to the students, parents, and supporters who helped us participate and came out to cheer on North Forney FFA!

THERE’S STILL TIME TO JOIN!

If you missed the Bash or parade, it is NOT too late to get involved! FFA and Junior FFA registration will remain open through October 1.

We have some BIG events coming up in October, and we cannot wait to see everyone there! Make sure you are following our pages and checking our AET websites, where we will continue updating our calendars with meetings, competitions, activities, livestock events, community service opportunities, and more.

Jackpots are opportunities for students to practice with their animal before Major Livestock Shows. Bella is making sure she is prepared!! Congratulations 🎊🐮

The moment we have all been waiting for!! We would like to introduce our 2026-2027 Officer Team for the North Forney FFA Chapter! We are so excited to see what this team will accomplish for our organization.

Palo Pinto & Jack Counties need our help! The Ross Fire has taken thousands of acres. Thank you to Landmark Relief Initiative Inc for coordinating the deliveries of donated feed for animals affected by this fire.

If you can help or know somone willing to help, please contact [email protected] or [email protected] to let us know you will be stopping by on the listed drop off dates. Items will be on their way to the Palo Pinto Drop location on Friday, September 4th.

If you are unable to donate feed, you can scan the QR code to donate directly to Landmark Relief Initiative Inc. They are in desperate need of cattle cubes, but are grateful for all donations!

North Forney FFA enjoyed being able to talk to incoming freshman and their siblings about FFA and our agriculture program during Flight School! We are so excited for this school year. Hank (Mrs. Malone’s puppy) was so excited to meet the new faces, he couldn’t help but sleep on the job🤣
