Wanted to put out a friendly reminder that we have some really cold weather heading our way this weekend. Don't forget to take precautions to avoid freezing pipes. My office has seen a few Homeowners quotes that our customers have sent us from competitors. For those that are getting quotes, make sure you read all of the quote details. For example, Actual Cash Value means you will receive payment at what it is worth today. That 15 year old roof, isn’t worth much. You won’t be able to replace your roof without having to pay a large portion out of your pocket. Also look at loss of use. If you have to be out of your home due to a major catastrophe, a lot of policies don’t have enough built in to keep you in a temporary home for the necessary time it would take to rebuild it. Apples to apples does not apply when comparing to what we cover. If you have any questions or would like for us to look over your policies, please give us a call. We would love to help.
