The Free and Reduced Meal Application is available for families to complete in Skyward. Those that qualify may also receive reduced technology fees. It is important to note that the federal program that extended free breakfast and lunch for all students the past two years is not continuing. In order to receive free or reduced meals, families must complete the application by September 22, 2022.

Forney School names Part 8: Jackson Middle School. Tony Jackson was a 1974 graduate of Forney High School who then played linebacker for SMU football. He dedicated his life to teaching, coaching, and preaching and served as a teacher and mentor at Forney ISD for 21 years from 1994 until his death in 2015. Jackson is best remembered as "Gentle Giant" who often stated "I'm just a nobody, who tries to tell everybody, about somebody who can save anybody."
