Six cans of spray foam, two pounds of foam clay, a bit of acrylic paint, several hours and a dash of insanity.. and I’m ready with an Oogie Boogie costume update.

Pro tip from a veteran bow maker, I really love to “tie one on”! 😂
Burlap is back, and I’m loving these gorgeous, richly-colored burlap ribbons from Morex Ribbon.. so sturdy and no shedding. The orange and yellow are my favorites, so vibrant! These 2.5” ribbons are wired and hold their shape so well, and are stunning mixed with patterns and other textures for those gorgeous, full and fluffy designer bows we all love. You can find them on Amazon, they’re perfect for autumn and holiday decorating, wreaths, and bannisters. Stock up for holiday gift wrapping, too! Find these and sooo many more gorgeous options at this link. I don’t get paid for this by the way, just truly love this brand, it’s the best! Morex carries a large selection of high quality ribbons, such as double face swiss satin, french wired lyon, sheer organdy, grosgrain, and a variety of prints and patterns. We serve a wide range of industries, including: craft & hobby, scrapbooking, gift wrapping, floral, confectionery, decor and many more.

Sundays are for unhinged Halloween crafts. Should be done with this in 10,000 hours.
Update on the spray foam debacle.

This is a throwback from 2015! But.. do you think this Halloween tree design is still cute? I loved mixing the all-white, iridescent tree with striped ribbons and creepy cute decorations. This was budget friendly too, with simple handmade and hand painted ornaments. Please tell me, do you put up a Halloween tree? I’d love to see a picture of yours in the comments!
Let the Virgo season begin.
Transform things you have into beautiful and festive holiday decor with a little hot glue and ribbon. Change the ribbon with the seasons, I used this stunning French wired acetate baroque ribbon in Williamsburg Blue from Morex, and my trusty AdTech glue gun. All set for cozy season, will someone please tell the California sunshine we’re ready for sweater weather?
Ready for flowers? Impasto painting with stencil butters is amazingly easy and very relaxing. You can use any colors you like, and a variety of techniques using different shapes of palette knives. What do you think of the finished look? I think the piping bag technique added a lot of dimension and really finished it off nicely! Share this with a friend who deserves a beautiful bouquet ❤️
