Hempstring Orchestra

A jam band playing in and around southern CA. It's 2020 and we are hanging in there during these crazy times!

We are focusing on playing great live music and keeping our shows outside! Live Shows consist of music performed while playing together for 20 years! The band features covers of Grateful Dead songs and other influential Jam band giants like Phish and the Allman brothers band. Mostly you'll find the shows to be different each night with a significant amount of material to draw from and plenty of opportunities to hear the band stretch out musically with originally crafted solos and "jam alongs".

As we start to ramp things up in preparation for Jam Fest, we like to get the party started with our series of "Road to Jam Fest" shows. Starting with 2 nights of Hempstring Orchestra at our generous sponsor and the host of JLJF Official Afterparties, Liberty Sports Bar & Grill in Mammoth Lakes. Music at LIberty Bar is always free and they have live music every weekend all summer too.
