Cheeks and Squeaks Hamsters

Did you know hamsters with red eyes can see 5000x better than the hamsters and they are also smarter and sweeter. has more of these adorable babies for adoption that are 6 weeks old and ready to go to a good home. This little cutie came by my house on its way to be transported to nor cal.

Other potential adopters were backing out because they had red eyes which we find slanderous 😝. Please contact them and rescue a hamster now! Thank you to everyone that has already donated and to anyone who would like to donate that can’t adopt. Please share as well as that helps too!

The adoption wait is long. Too long. But being an ethically run home breeder means I can’t produce quickly. This is a not for profit hobby plus I have two jobs to help pay for the hamsters. Cheeks is about ethical breeding AND proper hamster care so even though I can’t provide everyone a Cheeks Hamster, I do hope our website and social media reaches people interested in doing right by their pets and can influence proper care.

My apologies to all the nice people that DM me. I can’t answer every single DM I get but most people message to ask if I got the application or if I have an idea on the wait time. To answer everyone here, yes I got the application and I have no idea how long the wait will be. In the past, the wait was at least a year. Horrible, I know.

I would really like to encourage people on my waitlist to rescue in the meantime. .cottage and and have taken in an unusual amount of pregnant Syrians due to a dumping situation so please check with them to save a life in need.

The Ricks took their glamour photos this past weekend. Since this is full genetic outcross litter, I am going to keep Ericka, Broderick, and Patrick for breeding. They have been so chill and lovely babies. Eve and Hemlock were a good match!

Update! The “Levain 11” pups are doing great. Going for a sourdough theme this time because I am in my sourdough Era and I like to hobby the hobby out of something. That’s how we ended up with Cheeks so watch out world…..Hamster Bakery in my future? Okay so back to the babies, I am reaching out to people on my wait list tomorrow and I need to take their photos soon. I also need to decide who I am keeping. I was really hoping the Virginia hamsters would help out the genetics but so far no luck. I will keep trying! This babies will go home on Valentines!
