In honor of Denim Day today, we are inviting you to show your support for sexual assault survivors and to help educate individuals and communities about sexual assault.
By wearing denim, individuals are making a statement against the 1992 decision by the Italian Supreme Court. In this decision, it was determined that a woman had not been r***d because he jeans were tight enough that they could have only been removed with her assistance --therefore making the act consensual.

General Mills used to pay ($100/ton) to have its solid waste taken to a landfill, but the company discovered other uses for byproducts.
For example, it took oat hulls, a byproduct of Cheerios, and burned it as fuel. Customers are now lining up to buy the material, and by 2006, the cereal maker recycled 86 percent of its solid waste.
