A quick story.
Rut is a song that was written about giving up on yourself. Living off the radar and hoping everyone forgets you. Being low enough to not see the highs anymore. And realizing all of these emotions are necessary in a learning process that can make or break your mind, body, and soul. Most of all, this song is a message to being human. Not knowing, but still going.

This show is going to be amazing. It’s one of the most diverse bills we’ve had the opportunity to be on. We got prog metal we got hardcore we got socal punk. It’s going to be a damn blast. Come out and catch one of the best shows of the summer!!!

It’s been a tumultuous year to say the least. However somehow we are still standing. After long deliberation, trial and error the decision was eventually reached that time keep this going our long time drummer and OG member would be stepping down from the mantle. This was an incredibly culpable split and the love we have for Xavier and his other amazing bands and is immense. He is off to do big and bright things. We wish him nothing but the best and will remain close friends. Sometimes geography gets in the way is all lol

That being said. After a lot of refining and hard work we would like to welcome the 3 newest members of DeadWidow.
