We're proud to share that our Clarksville farm was recently awarded the Cares Award from the Florida Farm Bureau Federation CARES Program.

This program publicly recognizes Florida farmers and ranchers who demonstrate exemplary efforts to protect Florida’s natural resources by implementing Best Management Practices. Recipients are awarded a This Farm CARES sign to demonstrate to all Floridians that agricultural producers are fully committed to protecting Florida’s environment.

Take a look at this overhead view of these three lawns taken in Gulf Shores, Alabama last week. The lawn in the center is Palisades Zoysia and the two on either side are Centipede lawns.
While no lawn looks it's best in January, some sod varieties do fare better than others during wintertime.

It's ! 🌱 This beautiful machine is a FireFly Automatix ProSlab 155, and we use it to harvest our slabs of sod 🤩 This technology is huge for sod farmers, so bask in its glory!
