The countdown is on! ๐ŸŽ‰โš“๏ธ

In just ONE WEEK, we'll be gathering for the 2026 Salty Shuffle Charity Poker Cruise benefiting Sea Glass Initiative!

As we look back at the memories from last year's event, we're reminded that the Salty Shuffle is about more than a great day of funโ€”it's about helping unhoused individuals and families throughout Baldwin County find hope, support, and a path forward.
Funds raised through this event help Sea Glass Initiative provide outreach, resource navigation, housing assistance, essential needs, and connections to critical community services for those experiencing homelessness.
And the best part? There are several ways to join the fun:
๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธ Travel by boat
๐Ÿš— Drive to each stop by vehicle
๐ŸšŒ Ride the shuttle
๐ŸŽ‰ Or simply purchase a hand and join us for the after-party!
No matter how you participate, you're helping make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.
Thank you to everyone who supports the Salty Shuffle and Sea Glass Initiative. We can't wait to see you next weekend for an unforgettable day of fun, community, and impact!

We are grateful to Lee Charities for sharing the story of how The Sea Glass Initiative began and for their continued belief in our mission. Their support helped lay the foundation for the work we are doing today, and we are honored to continue building on that vision.

At The Sea Glass Initiative, we believe that addressing homelessness is not the responsibility of any one organization, church, business, agency, or individual. It requires collaboration. It requires compassion. It requires all of us working together toward meaningful solutions.

The Sea Glass Initiative does not do this work alone. Every success story represents the collective efforts of community partners, faith communities, mental health providers, healthcare professionals, employers, educators, law enforcement partners, nonprofits, volunteers, and countless individuals who believe that everyone deserves a path forward. The more than 75 local households that have successfully exited homelessness through our program did not do so because of one organization. Those successes were made possible through collaboration and a shared commitment to helping our neighbors move toward stability.

Baldwin County is blessed with incredible resources, dedicated nonprofits, caring faith communities, business leaders, educators, healthcare and mental health professionals, local agencies, volunteers, and citizens who want to make a difference. As our county continues to grow, so does the need for coordinated efforts that meet people where they are and help create pathways to long-term stability.

Rather than simply talking about the challenges, we invite our community to become part of the solution.

๐Ÿ’™ Advocate
๐Ÿ’™ Collaborate
๐Ÿ’™ Give
๐Ÿ’™ Join the Conversation

Together, we can build a stronger Baldwin County where every person has the opportunity to move forward with hope, dignity, and support.

We believe Baldwin County's greatest strength is not any one organization, it is our willingness to work together. As our community continues to grow, so does the opportunity to create innovative, collaborative solutions that ensure no one is left behind.

If you are a community leader, business, faith community, service provider, or organization looking to be part of the solution, we welcome the opportunity to work together. Lasting change happens when we bring our strengths to the same table.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand alongside us in this work.
