Good morning! I hope everyone is safe and well this morning. NowHere Farms is NOT at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market BUT today is the Corn Festival! If you are in the area be sure to check it out today; there are some aMAIZing vendors, lots of corn products, even a cook-off which may include some corny Dad jokes 🤣 Head on over and have a blast!

We look forward to returning to market July 11th. I should be out of the boot and walking unassisted by then which means having English Muffins, Ciabatta rolls, and some hand-crafted items in addition to eggs and whatever our garden decides to produce that week. 💖

Friends, this week has not been a good one in the garden and our harvest is very small. We will NOT be at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market this week, Saturday June 6th. BUT a lot of wonderful vendors will be there! Head over and find some treasures and some yummies and hopefully we will be back with goodies next week.

On another note, the cast came off this week and rehab started!! So hopefully before too much longer I will be back with Cletus at the market and with some of Nana's English Muffins 😊 I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Good morning! We are loaded up and Cletus is headed to the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market soon and looking forward to seeing you today! This week we have some new pole beans I think you are going to enjoy. Remember; we are happy to take orders for quail meat, or for live quail if you are interested in starting your own quail adventures 😊

Once again, Cletus is planning to be at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market this weekend, Saturday May 30 from 9 am until 2 pm....or until sold out! 😉

This week we are harvesting tomatoes ~ full-sized Early Girls, and some really good cherry tomatoes. We also have lots of some really good green beans, and hopefully some summer squash. Along with the veggies we will have our regular quail eggs.

This is supposed to be my last week in the cast. Hopefully once I get out of this I can start back to being at the market with Cletus. Until then, come out and see Cletus. I will post the board with what we have and prices late Friday/early Saturday.

Good morning! Cletus is up-and-at-'em this morning and getting ready to head out and set up and the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market!! Here is our price list for the day; everything is fresh and ready for you. The price is for clamshells of tomatoes and a pretty large batch of green beans :) We have limited quantities of squash so come early! He is looking forward to seeing you 🥰

Is it May 20th already? Because last time I *walked* to check the calendar it was April 24th? 🤣

We are in recovery mode still, and will be for....well...a while. I am in my second cast and it is on until June 2nd, when I will go into a boot; that means I am still off my feet for a while.

BUT the garden is coming in beautifully and Cletus will set up at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market THIS WEEK! 😀🎉 He will be there with quail eggs, tomatoes, green beans, and squash. Come show him some love if you are in the area and make his day! This man has been working so hard doing all the things, indoors and out while taking care of me and pampering me like a queen. 💖

UPDATE: I am so thankful so many of you seem to appreciate my sense of humor! There WILL be googly eyes tomorrow and (if we can remember) Cletus will take a picture for me to post when I am back to "normal" (whatever that is 😂). If you think about us in the next few days, please offer a prayer for both of us. 💖 I'm going to go see if I can find Stephen Frye's version of Achilles....

I just saw a post from some unknown someone who went shopping before surgery to get googly eyes to put on her body. Y'all! Surgery is Friday and I happen to have googly eyes on hand. What do you think? Should I??? I won't put it ON my Achilles or even on my lower leg but really? Googly eyes? Maybe on my arm where they will be putting the IV? 🤣🤣

Here's the update. Achilles surgery is scheduled for Friday, April 24th to be followed by several weeks (!) of non-weightbearing. Please keep us in your prayers, for healing for me and for strength and stamina for Cletus as he does EVERYTHING around here while I have races with the cats on my knee scooter. 🐈‍⬛😂

Our plan is to be back at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market by May 23rd (Memorial Day weekend) and we will have fresh veggies by then! In the meantime, if you are local and would like eggs, contact us and we can make that happen. Deliveries will be continuing on Thursdays to our regular customers and we would be happy to add you to that list 😊

Oh, and y'all; if you start having pain and tightness in your Achilles tendon, do NOT wait for *cough* months to see the doctor about it, OK? Please?

We have noticed a lot of people having fun coloring quail eggs this year. Cletus "egged" me on to join in the fun (oh, that Cletus! 😂), so I went and spent $.99 at the Walmarts for some egg dye and here are the results:
