Benton County is developing a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Plan focused on improving safety on county roads. This action plan will guide roadway safety strategies throughout Benton County to make our streets and roads safer for everyone, whether you drive, walk, bike, roll, or take transit.

The SS4A Plan will identify a prioritized list of safety improvement projects based on data and stakeholder input. Benton County will prioritize and secure funding for implementing safety projects.

There will be a public hearing on December 16 to consider adding road construction projects to the County's existing Sales Tax for Transportation. This is not a new tax, but rather a discussion to do more with what we already have.

County State Aid Highway 22 (165th St NE) bridge is now open to traffic.

County Road 51 (55th St NE) bridge is done and now open to traffic.
