Exciting improvements are coming to our wastewater system thanks to Governor Kay Ivey, Commissioner Chris Blankenship, and the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources!
Governor Ivey recently announced more than $52 million in GoMESA funding for 21 projects across Coastal Alabama — including $800,000 for Riviera Utilities’ Coastal Wastewater Resiliency Improvement Project.
This investment will help Riviera make improvements that add another layer of protection and resiliency to our wastewater system and the natural resources around us.
We’re grateful to Governor Ivey and Commissioner Chris Blankenship for their leadership, support, and commitment to investing in the future of Coastal Alabama.
We’re proud to play a small part in a much bigger effort to keep our coast strong, resilient, and thriving.

UPDATE 8:05 P.M.: ⛈️ This evening’s storms have brought down a few more power lines in the Loxley, Summerdale, and Foley areas. Multiple crews are working through the night to get lines repaired and power restored. Thanks for hanging in there with us, we appreciate your patience so much! 🧡💛
Some of our electric customers in Loxley and Rosinton are currently experiencing a service interruption due to a downed power line during this afternoon's storms. Crews are on site and working to restore power as quickly and safely as they can!

How do you know if a fusion is built to last? Putting it to the test!
Today, our gas operators completed their annual fusion testing with the Alabama Public Service Commission which ensures that our services are being built to the highest standard of durability.
Every new gas service added and repair made is done with a saddle, butt, or electro fusion. Thanks to regular testing like this, we can safely deliver the energy you need for years to come! 🔥

We are glowing GREEN for 811 this week! 💚
Electric, gas, water, wastewater, fiber, and communications lines are buried just beneath the surface all over Baldwin County. If you see green while you're out after dark this week, remember that you can help keep our neighbors, homes, and businesses safe by calling 811 before you dig! 📲
We're so thankful to each of the local cities and utilities who've partnered with us this year to raise awareness for 811 and protect underground utilities in our communities!
City buildings, local landmarks, and utility offices will be shining bright together for one more night — get out and see them while you can! 🔦

811 week is here! 💚❤️🧡💙💛
Protecting underground utilities is no guessing game, but our front lawn is! 🤪
The closest guess to the number of flags on each of our front lawns wins a Ninja Slushi Machine! 🍧
The Foley and Daphne offices have a different number of flags, so we'll have two winners, one for each location. Make sure you choose the correct location when submitting your guess!
