Electric, communications, gas, water, and wastewater lines are buried between a few inches to a several feet below ground. β‘οΈβοΈπ₯π§
Hitting a utility line while digging can create dangerous situations, cause major damage, and leave your home or even neighborhood without service while repairs are made. Be a good neighbor and call Alabama 811 before you dig! πͺπ±

We're not the only ones who chose Don Gatlin as Employee of the Year! At the AL/MS Water Joint Annual Conference, he was named Wastewater Treatment Operator of the Year by the Alabama Water Environment Association and received the Water Environment Federation's William D Hatfield Award! He was selected for his outstanding performance, professionalism, and innovative problem-solving skills while operating our plant.
Tony Schachle said it best, "Don's achievement is a reminder that excellence is built through teamwork, consistency, and a commitment to doing the job right." Congratulations on another incredible achievement, Don!
