If you have room in your heart and home for dog or cat sitting in a shelter or rescue wondering when they will find their couch with a human to love, seek out your local shelters and rescues. Look beyond their breed, their face and see their heart that just wants to give you love and play in comfort & security. It is not their fault they are here.
And if you have reached your limit of furballs or are not in place right not to have a furball of your own, there are ways to help these pets right from your phone or computer. Start by following every local rescue and share their posts of adoptable pets to your profile and any animal groups that will allow the shares. Also, often times shelter will have a "Friends of .... shelter" pages that post the pics of shelter pets needing homes. If you are close enough, seek out neighboring states with rescues close to you.

FOOD FOUR PAWS PET PANTRY IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME! BULLHEAD CITY, AZ — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾🐾 Food Four Paws Pet Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making sure local pets have access to the food they need.
We are currently searching for a new location for our pet food pantry.
WHAT WE NEED:
📍Bullhead City, Arizona
🏢Approximately 450+ sq. ❄️Climate-controlled / air-conditioned
🚻Bathroom for our volunteers
📦Space suitable for storing and distributing pet food
❤️A location where we can continue serving our community

Meet my 2 goobers! They are slowing becoming friends and figuring out a new home life without their 2 alpha/lead dogs to follow. And they are also becoming more snuggly with me.
Dewie on the left is a 13yr old Chiweenie who is still as active as a 5yr old and is learning how wonderful human tough can be. I have had him for 11yrs but he respected the alpha dogs and kept his distance.
Cher is a 5yr old Chug who believes my only job is to give her belly rubs. She too is learning not to panic at sounds and touch. I have had her since she was 1.5yrs old & weening her second litter of Chug puppies.
My retirement came at about the same time I (we) lost the 20yr old alpha/lead dog. With so many changes in barely 2 months we are working out new routines and new signals for when they need to go out side. Either 1 or both will just go and stand by the door and stare at me. Which is great if I am looking in that direction, but if my nose is in the computer, they just keep standing there patiently waiting. I found one of those "door bell" things like when you walk in a store and a sound goes off. I think I am going to get one of those and see what they think.

Since I retired and closed my pet store I have quite a bit of inventory left. So I am selling it on my current eBay store.
