Mrs. Parker’s Buying & Selling students competed in a Real Estate themed school scavenger hunt. Can you guess what classes these clues might be?

Mrs. Parker’s Buying & Selling students have been working on their measuring skills and calculating how much material is needed for their outdoor landscaping project. They compared prices between stores and came up with the final cost for all materials needed.

Mrs. Parker’s Intro to Real Estate students have been working hard on their neighborhood development project.
They had to find the vacant land, choose a target market, describe prospective buyers and their needs, design the development, and even create floor plans and Open House flyers.
Then they presented their sales pitch as to why to buy in their development.

Mrs. Parker’s Buying & Selling classes have been tasked with acting as a buyer’s agent and helping First Time Homebuyers find the home of their dreams.
They also had to complete some math to help their clients calculate their price per square foot and acreage amount with the lot size. All their clients plan to buy soon!

So proud of our FBLA students who stepped up and competed in their various events (Graphic Design, Event Planning, Sales Presentation, and Test in Advertising) against our fellow county schools.

They represented our school and our program with pride and professionalism. Great job!

Our FBLA organization adopted an angel and went shopping together for their gifts last week. Our students enjoyed finding the perfect and special gifts for our angel and giving back to our community.

As everyone was stressing over recipes and travel plans…Mrs. Parker’s Intro to Real Estate classes were designing their set up to host their Thanksgiving Dinner before their break
They thought of the prep work in the kitchen, where all 14 people were going to sit, and then relax after their bellies were full.

Mrs. Parker’s Buying & Selling Real Estate classes have been learning about credit scores and credit reports. Today they looked at various scenarios and reports to see how they can affect the financial aspect of buying and renting.

Today was one of our most favorite days of the year! Our teachers hosted a CTE Signing Day! We have students enlisting in the military, joining the workforce, and enrolling in college! We are proud of each of these students!!
