Major Homes is a fourth-generation home improvement company. Since 1919, we have specialized in
The before and after speaks for itself.
New siding. New trim. New gutters. New life for this home.
While the color and curb appeal grab your attention, it is the little things that matter most. Properly finished trim, clean corners, hidden ventilation, and attention to detail throughout the project.
Those finishing touches are what turn a siding job into a complete exterior transformation.
Every siding project starts the same way.
Before the new siding goes on, the old siding has to come off. That means carefully removing materials, inspecting the underlying structure, and ensuring everything is ready for the next phase.
Once the existing siding is removed, we check for any damaged wood, install the proper moisture barrier, and begin preparing the home for its new exterior.
The finished product gets all the attention, but the preparation is where a successful project really begins.
The difference is often what you do not see.
A quality siding installation is about more than the finished appearance. It is the behind-the-scenes details that help protect a home from water intrusion for years to come.
At Major Homes, we take the extra steps to properly seal and protect vulnerable areas because doing the job right is always worth the extra effort.
Not every homeowner wants to cover up their home's character.
For this Tudor-style house, the goal was to preserve its distinctive look while dramatically reducing future maintenance.
By custom-fitting aluminum over the exposed wood trim, we can help protect the home from the elements while maintaining the architectural style that makes it unique.
Projects like this require patience, precision, and craftsmanship, but the finished result is always worth it.
Some home improvement products never go out of style. They just evolve.
Modern aluminum awnings have come a long way from the designs many homeowners remember from years ago. Cleaner lines, updated support systems, and a wide range of colors make them a great option for adding shade and protection without a major renovation.
Simple. Functional. Built to last.
Just one window.
For some companies, that is a job they would rather pass on.
At Major Homes, we look at it differently. If a customer needs help, we are happy to help. Whether it is one window or an entire home, every project deserves the same level of care and attention.
Because taking care of our customers has always been part of the job.
Think it is too late to add a storm door?
It is not.
A lot of homeowners install a beautiful new entry door and later decide they would like more ventilation, more light, or an extra layer of protection. Fortunately, storm doors can be custom-built and added long after the original door installation.
The finished result looks like it was always part of the design.
The best solutions are not always the most obvious ones.
On this bay window project, the space between the top of the window and the roof overhang was too tight for a traditional shingle roof. So instead, we installed a custom soffit tie-in using matching vertical siding material.
The result is clean, watertight, and designed to look like it was always meant to be there.
That is the kind of detail that makes all the difference.
