New Photo Gear Update :
As reported earlier Manfrotto's new Quick Release plate has arrived! We had a chance to check it out and were surprised by what we found. Manfrotto overlooked the big lens community when creating this locking clamp. Unfortunately "Wimberley" the most trusted name in providing supports for large telephoto lenses is NOT supported. Beauty of the "Arca - Type" system is its compatibility across brands!

" I have often thought that if photography were difficult in the true sense of the term - meaning that the creation of a simple photograph would entail as much time and effort as the production of a good watercolor or etching - there would be a vast improvement in total output. The sheer ease with which we can produce a superficial image often leads to creative disaster." - Ansel Adams.

New Gear Announcement -
For those of you looking to upgrade there old tripod or get a new one there's exciting news from Manfrotto. A new quick release plate that now conforms to the professional "quick release system" called "Arca-Type".

Great workshop at Adorama tonight. Denis Reggie was awesome. Learned a thing or two that we are definitely planning to incorporate when we shoot future weddings...

Just finished registering for two Adorama workshops... We stepping our game up this year... You've been warned... ;)

Batteries and Red Bull stocked. Feels good getting ready for a shoot. Now if only the model and the make up artist didn't get lost on the way here... :P
