If we were actually publishing, books about the world's fairs that have been held in New York would certainly be on our list.

I lived (and still live) a short walk away and rode the AMF Monorail many times.
Note that this ad misplaces the Kodak pavilion (bottom center) in order to include it in this westward-looking view. Kodak was actually to the east of this imaginary viewpoint. The Unisphere and NY State pavilion are depicted roughly where they should be, but squeezed closer together than they actually are.
More a placeholder than a real publisher, but I appreciate your stopping by.

Federal Books was created during the Hugo Award puppy wars to emphasize that I was speaking only for myself and not as an employee of Tor Books, Tom Doherty Associates, or Macmillan. It was named in honor of my late father's Federal Box Company. At the moment, and for the foreseeable future, it has no existence beyond this page. —Moshe Feder
