On Monday, May 3rd, the Small Business Administration has started accepting applications for its Restaurant Relief Fund (RRF). The $28.6 billion RRF provides funding to help restaurants and other food and drink businesses for revenues lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your tenants may be eligible to apply for the RRF and rent is an allowable use of funds. While we are not experts and can’t answer specifics related to the RRF, we encourage all Borrowers and tenants to visit the SBA website and determine if their company is eligible.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund This program provides emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars, and other qualifying businesses impacted by COVID-19.

Chase Properties wants to do everything it can to help our tenants navigate through this process. We are partners with our small business tenants during this difficult time.

Attached is additional information summarizing each section of the relief bill that Congress passed. The other document details what’s new and what has changed in regards to Restaurants and the second round of PPP funding that is being made available to them.

UPDATED 6/22 All of our tenants have officially reopened!

Governor Tate Reeves extended Mississippi’s Safer at Home order until May 25th. However, he has allowed most retail, restaurants, and other non-essential businesses to reopen with limitations. Our tenants are implementing capacity restrictions and social distancing measures to keep employees and customers safe.
