📣 The Team Behind Your Team 📣

Capital Ortho is proud to announce our partnership with Pisgah High School as the official sports medicine provider for all athletic programs.

Pisgah has built a growing tradition of excellence both on and off the field, and we’re honored to be part of what’s ahead for the Dragons. 🐉

“We’re excited to partner with Pisgah Athletics and invest in the health and success of their student-athletes,” said Dr. Tal Hendrix, orthopedic surgeon and physician-owner at Capital Ortho. “We look forward to working alongside the school’s leadership, coaches, athletes, and families to keep their teams healthy, active, and competing at their highest level.”

We’re also happy to share that Cody Shaw will continue serving Pisgah athletes as their athletic trainer, now as part of the Capital Ortho team. Cody has already made a lasting impact at Pisgah, and we’re proud to have him leading athletic training coverage on campus.

Recently Overheard, Real things we hear from patients every day. Today’s Edition: “Nothing hurts my shoulder more than a good night’s sleep.” 😴

Shoulder pain that wakes you up at night is one of the most common complaints we hear. While many people assume it’s just the way they slept, nighttime shoulder pain can often be a sign of an underlying issue such as a rotator cuff injury, impingement, or arthritis.

The good news… There are many treatment options that can help you get back to sleeping comfortably again.

What’s the most random thing that makes your shoulder hurt?
