🧵 Here's a tip for taking care of your sewing machine!

When you're ready to switch out your thread, use this two-step method — it's so much kinder to your machine and makes the whole process easier!

✂️ Step 1: Cut the thread near the spool at the TOP
👇 Step 2: Gently pull the thread out from the BOTTOM, at the needle

When you pull from the bottom, the thread glides out smoothly through all the guides and tension discs without dragging any lint or fuzz back through. Over time, that buildup can cause real wear on your machine's internal parts. This simple habit actually helps protect your machine and extend the time between service appointments!
