Day 2 in Phoenix! ☀️

Got my morning walk in before the temperature climbs to a sizzling 109° today. It's been a great week of learning, networking, and sharing ideas with more than 400 Visiting Angels franchise owners and directors from across the country.

I'm excited for another full day of training and bringing home new ideas that will help us continue providing the very best care to seniors and families in our community.

Being a CNA is more than a job—it's a calling. Every day, our caregivers make a meaningful difference through their kindness, patience, dedication, and servant hearts.

This week, we celebrate and honor each CNA who goes above and beyond to ensure our clients can remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Veteran Spotlight 💙🤍❤️🇺🇸

This week's Veteran Spotlight honors Mr. Edward "Eddie" Wright, a proud member of both the Army Air Forces and the United States Air Force.

Mr. Wright began his military service in 1947 with the Army Air Forces. When the United States Air Force was established later that year, he chose to transition into the newly formed branch and began his distinguished career. After basic training, his ability to drive almost every vehicle he came across, came in handy. He served in the motor pool, operating nearly every type of military vehicle. From Jeeps, transport vehicles, and even the staff cars of the generals and higher-ranking officials, he helped keep everything moving!

Throughout his 22 years of military service, Mr. Wright was stationed and trained in numerous locations, including France, Turkey, Arizona, Alaska, and Florida. He also proudly served in the Air Force Fire Department, ultimately achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his career, he served our nation during the tense years of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

During his military career, Mr Wright was an instructor in the newly created Women's Air Force. He arrived at the training grounds and was shocked to find all of his airmen were actually women!

After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Wright continued serving his community through civilian leadership roles. He worked as a supervisor for Junior Food Mart and later supervised multiple grocery and convenience stores in and around Jackson, MS.

Mr. Wright retired in 1969, moving from Jackson to a peaceful piece of land in Meridian, Mississippi. He had a wonderful life with his late wife and son, Gary.

Thank you, Mr. Eddie Wright, for your 22 years of dedicated service and sacrifice to our country. We are honored to recognize and celebrate you this week.

Cassandra wears many hats in our office and does an amazing job supporting our veterans, clients, families, and staff every day.

We are grateful for all you do and the heart you bring to Visiting Angels. Your hard work and caring spirit make a difference in the lives of so many.

What a wonderful time we had today at the Flowood Prime Time Senior’s Gala!

A heartfelt thank you to Diane & the Prime Time Senior’s team for hosting such a beautiful event and for bringing together so many amazing seniors, families, and community partners.

We always enjoy the opportunity to connect with others, celebrate aging well, and share resources that help seniors continue living safely and independently at home.

One of my favorite parts of owning Visiting Angels is meeting so many wonderful people in our community, and today's gala was a perfect example of that.

Thank you for your hospitality and for all you do to support our senior community. We are already looking forward to next year!💕💕💕

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

At Visiting Angels, we are especially grateful for the veterans, military families, and heroes who have sacrificed so much for our country.

This Memorial Day, may we pause to reflect, remember, and never forget. ❤️🤍💙

We had an amazing crowd of veterans, spouses, and seniors who made today’s USA 250 trivia, stories, laughter, and fellowship so much fun.
The room was filled with great conversation and connection, which is exactly what Vet-to-Vet is all about.❤️🤍💙
A very special thank-you to Jennifer Harper and the Vicksburg Senior Center for always making everyone feel so welcome and supported. ❤️
