We were honored to celebrate the incredible partnership between McLeod Children’s Hospital and Panda Express during a special recognition event unveiling the new Panda Cares Center of Hope in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Thanks to the generosity of Panda Express associates and guests, the PICU playroom has been named in honor of Panda Cares, creating a welcoming space where children and families can find comfort, play, and moments of joy during their hospital stay.

This event provided an opportunity to share with local Panda Express associates the meaningful impact their support has on the patients and families we serve each day. We are grateful for their commitment to helping make a difference in the lives of children throughout our community.

What a fantastic week at McLeod Children's Hospital Asthma Camp! 🎉

From June 8–12, campers enjoyed exciting adventures to Skateland, the Planetarium, and Carowinds while also learning important skills to help them manage their asthma. Throughout the week, the children gained a better understanding of asthma triggers, how to recognize the signs of an asthma attack, and what steps to take when symptoms begin.

The week concluded with a special presentation where campers shared what they learned with family and friends, showcasing their newfound knowledge and confidence.

A special thank you to Respiratory Therapist Sherry Gasque, whose dedication and passion make this camp possible each year. We are also grateful to the HERO Fund for providing $19,000 in funding this year, ensuring these children have access to a fun, educational, and empowering experience.
