This morning, the staff of One Child At A Time had the privilege of spending time with Chief Byron Snellgrove and Captain Kyle Hause at the Hartsville Police Department.
We were honored to provide One Child At A Time educational materials, along with resources from the Department of Homeland Security's Blue Campaign, to support ongoing human trafficking awareness efforts in our community.
During our visit, we had a productive discussion about Continued Presence. This valuable federal tool can provide temporary immigration relief and support for victims of human trafficking during active investigations. We also discussed the importance of victim-centered approaches, community partnerships, and continued training opportunities to strengthen our collective response to human trafficking.
We are grateful for the Hartsville Police Department's commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and raising awareness about this critical issue. Together, we can make a difference through education, collaboration, and prevention—one child at a time.
Thank you, Chief Snellgrove and Captain Hause, for your time, leadership, and dedication to keeping our community safe. 💙

We had the privilege today to talk to the D.A.R of Hartsville. Thank you for allowing us to come and share our story while learning who we are and what we do. It’s through education that we can help save lives one child at a time.

Our children navigate a digital world where they are vulnerable each day to being targeted and manipulated by online predators. One mistake online should never determine a child’s future. Their story is not finished, and there is hope.
Thanks to the “Take It Down” program, young people no longer have to suffer in silence or hide in the darkness. Resources like these are helping children reclaim their voice, their safety, and their future.
Together, we can continue educating families, empowering children, and protecting our communities… one child at a time. 💙

What an incredible day at the “Mind Over Matter” Youth Workshop hosted by Wayside Chapel Baptist Church. We had the privilege of educating students and parents on the realities of human trafficking, online predators, and the importance of internet safety in today’s digital world.
It was an honor to stand alongside so many passionate speakers and community leaders who are investing in the well-being of our youth. Prevention begins with education, and every conversation matters.
Thank you to Verna Downs, Angela Moses, and everyone involved for the opportunity to be part of such an impactful event. Together, we are helping protect and empower the next generation.
Together, we can educate our children on online safety and human trafficking awareness… one child at a time.

We were truly honored to spend today with the incredible nurses at Carolina Pines, in Hartsville, S.C., providing training on the red flags and indicators of human trafficking. These frontline professionals play such a vital role in identifying victims who may never speak for themselves, and equipping them with the right tools can truly save lives.
We also had the opportunity to speak with them not just as healthcare providers but also as parents and grandparents, sharing practical ways to protect their children and families from online predators in today’s digital world.
Grateful for the heart, compassion, and commitment of this team. Together, we are making our communities safer, one child at a time. 💙
