Tuesday, April 21, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, "Music for Mavis" Tuesdays brings you Mary Murphy, our heart-felt blues singer.
Singing to your soul, Maine singer-songwriter Mary Murphy accompanies herself on piano, guitar and blues harp. She connects with her audience while performing a variety of original music and covers from classical to blues and most everything in-between. Her audiences range from Maine to South Carolina and beyond. Empty Bowl Facebook Post 3-16-26
Thank you to all,
Empty Bowl 4 Kids Fundraiser has come to an end. The generosity shown by donors and their dedication to Help-4-Kids made the event successful. This year’s donations of $14, 000. 00 will provide weekend food bags for 45 children for a year, who are food insecure in Florence County. In the past 3 years the weekend food bag cost has gone up from $4. To $6. or 34%.
Special thanks to Saint Luke Lutheran Church, Pastor Rusty Kehl, and staff who worked together to make it happen The Potters Collective, First Reliance Bank, the First Sponsor. The local magazines VIP ‘s Heather Page, and SC Currents, Libby Weirsema, featuring articles bringing attention to hungry school children in Florence County; for the 100% nonprofit Help4Kids, Diane Welsh and Bri Jackson. A large thank you to the 1st time Silent Auction donators. And finally, the St. Luke Volunteers leaders, Rona Ewart, Abby Mills, and Dee Dee Kehl and many more.

A small group of potters have come together as a Potters Collective for year 3, of the Empty Bowls Fundraiser for ‘Help4 Kids’ next Saturday, February 7th. @6:30 @ St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Local Potters; Lisa Pike, Sasha Federer, Doug Gray and Peggy Brown.

Good Evening, sorry so late to post this, but I guess I just couldn’t stop feeling so blessed this Thanksgiving.
It’s been hard to wrap my mind around the temps in the morning but with EVERYONE that will be there making the extra effort to have a small business Holiday Gift Market is heartwarming!
Clay Pot works be serving up Hot local cheese Grits From Carolina Rice Plantation Maypop Farms Chicken Sausage for $ 5. serving.
We’ll have Take-away Shepherds pies for $29.00ea. serves 4 or more.
Around 12N we’ll have Soup! $6 a cup: Organic Lentil soup with ham and organic veggies OR Local Sweet Potato Corn Chowder (SP from the James Farm in Darlington) and organic corn and So Delicious Coconut milk.

Thank You’s to All.
It appears that the ‘Empty Bowl 4 Kids’ Fundraiser has about come to an end. And I (we) cannot wait another day to express gratitude and grace (to pause & notice the sweet moments of our life) and for the generosity that all have shown that made this giving event a success. This year’s donations of $8,940 will feed 44 children for a year, who are food insecure in Florence County
