In preparation for the Bridal Expo at The Harper House this weekend, I’ve found myself digging through the archives the last few nights pulling some of my favorite photographs from the last couple of years. Thinking back to the memories from each couple’s special day has had me really feeling grateful for how personal and creative this job allows me to get with people. It’s also made me realize the majority of the shots I love most are the ones from the moments in between- where life is simply happening. The genuine, unposed, beauty that each couple creates in their own time together. I’m so excited for the remainder of 2026 and all of the amazing weddings I have on the calendar. Thank you all for your continuous support and encouragement- it means more than you know.

A peek into a summer evening well spent with Madelyn Brink. 🖤

What a gem this girl is! As soon as I met Madelyn for our shoot, I could tell instantly that we were going to easily connect. She came into the session with a warm, solid confidence that translated so well in front of the camera. Madelyn truly trusted my vision for the session and I couldn’t love how it turned out more. It had been a minute since I shot a senior portrait session- the summer is typically filled with weddings and engagement sessions. It felt great to get back into the individual portraits saddle with Madelyn. She is truly a rockstar and I know that she is going to have the most amazing senior year!

A sneak peek into Avery + Jaden’s engagement session in Huntsville last week 🪷🦋

This shoot was so much fun to direct and photograph. Avery and Jaden share the most giddy, magnetic, God-centered love of any two people I think I’ve ever worked with. It has been so cool being a part of the day that Jaden proposed and now all of the fun moments leading up to their wedding next June. These sort of relationships I get to create with my clients is easily one of the biggest blessings of this job.

The Stateside Celebration of the Summer 🍋

Grace-lyn and Rob said their vows during a small, intimate wedding last month in Italy with their closest friends and family in attendance. I had the pleasure of capturing their reception back home in Alabama last weekend, and it was all that and more! The decor, the attire, the food- everything came together perfectly and truly brought Italy to the States.

This was a gorgeous day at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club, and it was so fun getting to see Grace-lyn and Rob celebrate with everyone they love.

A few of my favorites from a perfect spring afternoon at Swann Lake Stables ✨

There are few things sweeter to capture than two people madly in love. I had the privilege of photographing the day that Will proposed to Lily, as well as the day they said their lifelong vows to each other. Both days were equally filled with excitement and anticipation.

Each couple I work with has their own dynamic- some pick at each other, some are loud and outgoing, while others are more reserved. Lily and Will are somehow so extremely joyful, yet calm at the same time. When you spend any amount of time with the two of them together, you instantly feel at ease. So many people love and support them as a couple, and it showed by how much celebration there was that evening. These people are so fun and good to their core.

I will always remember that hot day in July with a smile. Congratulations to the Rushings! 💒💕

Dylan and Bryant are making it official in 2027 and I can’t wait to have these two in front of my camera again! Some of my favorite shots from this session were from the moments in between- a sign of true, genuine chemistry. After all of these years together they still have a giddiness about them that makes photographing the two of them so dang fun.
