ARIZONA RANGER HISTORY
On January 1,1902, Bisbee peace officer Dayton Graham accepted the position as the first sergeant of the Rangers from Captain Mossman.
With only five days as a Ranger, Sergeant Graham led a posse that resulted in the arrest of three rustlers. A month later, on February 1, he resigned his Ranger commission to become the Bisbee City marshal. Captain Mossman persuaded him to return as Sergeant on April 1, but by March 31, he had resigned permanently. After becoming the constable of Douglas, he was wounded in 1903 saloon gunfight that left another peace officer dead. According to Bill O'Neal's The Arizona Rangers, "a few days later," he gunned down the culprit and, some time later, shot and "wounded a Mexican who tried to resist arrest."
Graham eventually found himself sentenced to five years for murder.

Last night at Arizona City Veteran Group meeting, several attendees paused for a photo with our Arizona Rangers - Pinal Company, including Pastor Lynch, Pinal County Supervisor McClure, Pinal County Fire and Medical Authority Chief Heaton, and Pinal County Sheriff Teeple for the People.
Meetings like these are essential for the local community, giving residents and veterans an opportunity to express their concerns, share ideas, and stay connected with local leaders and first responders. Pinal Company is always proud to support events that strengthen communication, cooperation, and community involvement.

The Arizona Rangers - Pinal Company are proud to serve our community in many ways, both big and small. Sometimes service is helping law enforcement at large events, and other times it is something as simple as assisting an elderly lady safely to her seat.
Moments like this remind us that being a Ranger is not only about security and patrols, but also about compassion, respect, and lending a helping hand to those who need it. The Arizona Rangers are here for the community, and we are honored to serve the people of Arizona every chance we get.

Arizona Rangers - Pinal Company's newest Probationary Ranger had the opportunity to meet Pinal County Sheriff Ross Teeple for the People and take a photo with him.
It is always appreciated when Sheriff Teeple takes the time to meet with Rangers and show his continued support for the Arizona Rangers and our local community.
