The collective mind of FMU Visual Arts. The NASAD accredited Visual Arts program at Francis Marion University offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Art.
We focus on developing the artistic abilities of students within the liberal arts tradition. Students majoring in Visual Arts select an area of specialization within the studio arts of ceramics, painting, photography or graphic design. We prepare our students for graduate school or independent work in the arts. This is accomplished through their coursework in the studio areas, supplemented by art

We're running in circles preparing for Alice in Wonderland: the Manhattan Project. Join us on April 16th and 17th at 7:30pm and Sat April 18th at 2:00pm in the Hyman Fine Arts Theatre on the FMU campus. Admission is free

“Funded through FMU’s REAL Grant, FMU Visual Art and Art Education students traveled with Professor Delaney M Shin to the Blue Ridge Mountains over spring break to research visual field methodology and create accordion books. View the books in the fine arts building now until April 10th to see their research.
