Over the last 10 months, our amazing teachers and assistants have been hard at work preparing our 4K Wee Bees to take flight.
Our little learners have grown so much! This year, they learned to:

*Count and identify numbers
*Master letters and their sounds
*Write their names
*Be a kind, helpful friend
And so much more!

It is incredibly bittersweet to say goodbye. As they continue to grow and spread their wings, just know that we’ll always be cheering them on from The Hive!

A reminder for parents and guardians: Thursday, May 28th, is the last day of school. It is also an early dismissal day.

🔹Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:10pm.
🔹Secondary schools will dismiss at 1:30pm.

🍎 Florence 1 Schools families can visit the district’s three high schools this summer to receive free breakfast and lunch during the Summer Meals program! 🥪

All children 18 years old or younger can participate. Each child getting a meal must be present, and meals are consumed on-site.

📋 Meals will be available June 8th through July 16th.
🍽️ Breakfast: Monday-Friday from 8 - 9 am
🥗 Lunch: Monday-Thursday from 11 am until 12 pm

Every car ride is now a concert tour. 🎶🚗

Since mid-May, we’ve seen only a 4% increase in student registration across the district. ☀️🏖️ Currently, 3,303 students still aren't registered. With just four days remaining until summer break, families only have four more days to receive registration assistance until next school year. 🚌 To ensure students are eligible to ride the bus on the first day of school, their registration must be completed by July 8.

With all of the end-of-the-year madness, we unintentionally overlooked some pretty amazing people. Yesterday was National Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Day.

At the very heart of RN Beck, you’ll find three absolute champions for our kids: our incredible Speech-Language Pathologists:
Ms. Ashley Clark, Ms. Stephanie Phillips, and Ms. Alecea Floyd

Day in and day out, these amazing educators are doing so much more than teaching words—they are changing lives. They give our "Wee Bee" students the essential tools they need to communicate, connect, and confidently interact with the world around them.

The growth our students make under their care is nothing short of extraordinary!

These two incredible ladies were chosen directly by our school family, and it’s easy to see why.

Described by colleagues as the absolute "G.O.A.T.", Dana is a passionate, creative, and patient educator who makes learning pure fun. Whether she’s leading teacher meetings, sharing resources, or tailoring her lessons so every single child thrives, her warmth and beautiful smile make everyone feel right at home!

Literally the "glue that holds our school together!" As our brilliant bookkeeper, Belva wears a million different hats with total grace and professionalism. She greets us every morning with a warm smile, knows every single student by name, and is always ready to step in whenever and wherever she is needed.

Dana and Belva, we are incredibly lucky to have you on our team. Thank you for making RN Beck such a wonderful place to grow!
