The Chrysalis Center is a unique women’s residential treatment facility for women diagnosed with a severe substance use disorder and their young children.
Designed to provide a nurturing therapeutic environment, Chrysalis offers an opportunity for children, up to the age of 10, to continue to live on-site with their mothers for 90-120 days depending on eligibility. This approach offers women the opportunity of seeking help without the fear of losing their children. Children residing at the center receive therapeutic services while their mothers gain a new chance at life … a chance to break the cycle of addiction.

Our staff celebrated Halloween in style this past Friday and put lots of fun in the day!
Our residents and staff enjoyed seeing the characters throughout the offices!

The crew from Smurfit WestRock chose the Chrysalis Center again for their Day of Caring project! Thank you so much for choosing us and for trimming and shaping up the flower beds, shrubbery, trees and plants in the area around our building. It looks so beautiful! You guys did a fantastic job. We are so thankful for the partnerships created by the United Way of Florence County!

Thanks to First Citizens Bank for participating in the United Way Day of Caring and for such a beautiful makeover of the flowers around the building at the Chrysalis Center. The pressure washing looks fantastic as well. Thank you for all of your hard work. We love it!
