Summer Leadership Camp Day 1 reflections:

We are half way through June! You still have time to donate to our school supply drive. Help us get our Eagles ready for a new school year!

Florence FFA is looking to partner this summer with our local community and area churches to gather school supplies for students in need. As we wrap up this school year it is never too early to start preparing for the upcoming school year. We have set up a drop box in the high school office and the ag classroom. We will gather items until June 30th and will begin packing book bags and dividing items in July to pass out to our area schools. Please consider helping us make this drive a success! If your youth group is looking for a great project this summer to connect your youth to the community this is the perfect opportunity!

Don’t forget we are still collecting school supplies through the end of the month! Drop off is at the ag shop or FHS front office

Florence FFA is on a roll again. At session 4 of State Convention 2 of our members were named Star Proficiency finalist and chosen as the overall State FFA winners. Langston Hollis in the area of Ag Mechanics Repair & Maintenance and Kailin Burney in the area of Ag Processing.

We were also recognized as a National Chapter Award recipient and will advance to Nationals in October.

Congratulations to our group on their success this morning! Florence FFA members are thriving!
