Lester Elementary School

It is almost time for Quarter 4 Report Cards, and we want to remind our families that report cards will be delivered electronically.

All 5K-12 grade families will receive report cards on June 3, 2026, via email to the parent/guardian email address provided during registration. Families will also receive fee statements and IEP progress reports by email, if applicable.

Once you receive your email and click download, please allow 15 seconds for the report card to download fully. If you navigate away from the page, the download will stop.

If you do not receive your child’s report card, or your email address has changed since registration, please contact your child’s school.

Today at Lester Elementary, we celebrated the close of the 2025-2026 school year with a wonderful Outback lunch provided by our incredible Lester APT while also recognizing many special members of our Lester family.

We proudly honored our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Hamilton, and our Support Staff of the Year, Ms. Vestal, along with several beloved staff members who are beginning new adventures or entering retirement. Their impact on our school will be felt for years to come.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was surprising 4th grade teacher Ms. Tracy Smith with the Ashley Dawkins Award. This award is selected by Lester leadership and presented to an individual who demonstrates outstanding dedication and service to the students and staff of Lester Elementary in the pursuit of excellence.

Mrs. Smith is grace and quiet perseverance personified. The relationships she has built with students, parents, and colleagues are a true reflection of her investment in people. Her continuous efforts to grow in her profession are a testament to her love of learning and her unwavering commitment to education. Lester is better because of her.

As we close another incredible school year, we are grateful for the people who make Lester such a special place to learn, grow, and belong. 💙

Today we said goodbye to the 2025-2026 school year and “see you later” to our Scotties! 💙🐾

Yearbook signings, Field Day fun, and our staff vs. students basketball game were all part of the excitement as we celebrated the end of another incredible year together.

Now our halls are a little quieter and our hearts a little less full, but summer adventures and well-deserved rest are calling! ☀️

We are so thankful for the memories made this year and can’t wait to welcome our Scotties back in July. Until then… happy summer, Scotties! 🏖️

From supporting our teachers and staff, to funding classroom needs, hosting fun family events, celebrating students, and creating special memories throughout the year — we are so proud of all that was accomplished together during the 2025-2026 school year!

None of this would be possible without the support of our amazing parents, volunteers, teachers, staff, sponsors, and community. Every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, and every donation helped make a difference for our Scotties. 🐶✨

A reminder that LES Field Day is tomorrow, Thursday May 28th! We intend to enjoy every last minute with our Scotties as we celebrate the last day of the 25-26 school year! Come prepared to play and bring your yearbooks for our signing party! Yearbooks available for purchase in the front office for $15 with cash or check. See you soon Scotties!

🎓✨ Lester Elementary’s 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of growing in greatness! Our phenomenal fifth graders have completed their elementary school journey and are now marching toward middle school adventures. We are incredibly proud of their perseverance, positivity, and accomplishments.

A special moment of the ceremony was hearing Aria Desai beautifully read a heartfelt class letter, followed by Ms. Shaw sharing touching words of wisdom and well wishes with our students. The chorus also gave a powerful performance that filled the room with joy and pride. 🎶💙

To our students — may you continue to dream big, work hard, and shine brightly as you begin this exciting new chapter. We know you will do marvelous things in middle school and beyond!

To our parents and families — thank you for your steadfast support, encouragement, and partnership throughout these elementary years. Your love and guidance have helped shape these students into the confident, caring leaders they are today.

Our 3rd Grade REACH “Morning at the Museum” was a marvelous celebration of mythology, imagination, and meaningful learning! ⚡🏺✨

After studying the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece, students selected a deity to research and creatively crafted an artifact to symbolize their chosen figure. From powerful Poseidon projects to dazzling Athena displays, our Scotties showcased scholarship, storytelling, and spectacular creativity!

We were thrilled to welcome family members and fellow Scotties. Your presence made this morning even more memorable. We are so grateful for your continued love, encouragement, and support of our students and school community. 💙💛
