Florence Police are currently on scene at Wildwood Tavern and have requested medical personnel in reference to a possible overdose involving a 23-year-old female.

At this time, it is unclear what prompted the initial police response to the tavern or the circumstances leading up to the medical emergency.

Florence Police were dispatched to Wildwood Tavern regarding a trespassing complaint involving a woman who had reportedly previously been banned from the property.

According to radio traffic, the woman returned to the establishment and was described as wearing a cream-colored top and heels.

Dispatch information further indicated the woman was allegedly attempting to remove her clothing inside the establishment and stalking an ex-boyfriend.

Officers were dispatched to the location to investigate the complaint.

Per radio traffic, an additional caller stated that the male victim is possibly altered mental. Caller alleging that the male is stating someone is assaulting him but nothing is there. Medical nature was shifted from a possible assault to an altered mental. Sheffield Fire on-scene.

Sheffield Police and Fire responded to the Clarion Inn on Hatch Boulevard following a report of a possible assault involving a male inside one of the rooms.

According to initial radio traffic, emergency personnel were dispatched to the location after receiving information that an unknown-age male may have been assaulted. Police and fire units responded to investigate and provide assistance.

The circumstances surrounding the reported assault, including the extent of any injuries, are unknown at this time.

Emergency personnel are on-scene of a serious motorcycle wreck involving an apparent ejection near the intersection of Huntsville Road and Cox Creek Pkwy in Florence.

Florence Fire, Florence Police, are currently working the scene. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

Due to the nature of the incident, Air-Evac was auto launched. Florence fire setting up a nearby landing zone.

Authorities have confirmed that one adult male has died following this significant motor accident involving a car vs. a dump truck. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending investigation of the accident and proper notification of the involved families. Authorities urge motorists to exercise caution while traveling in the vicinity of the scene as crews remain.

Emergency crews are on-scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving both an ejection and entrapment on Highway 72 near Vulcan Road.

Initial radio traffic indicated at least one occupant was ejected from a vehicle, while another was reportedly entrapped, prompting a rescue response to the scene.

Air-Evac was auto-launched due to the nature of the injuries. Per radio traffic, Air-Evac 177 accepted and provided an ETA of 28 minutes.

🚨MULTIPLE HOMES ON FIRE IN MUSCLE SHOALS

Muscle Shoals firefighters are on-scene of two separate residential attic fires reported within approximately 30 minutes of one another.

The first fire was reported around 5:16 PM on Cypress Lane, where a lightning strike reportedly ignited a fire in the attic of a residence. Heavy smoke was reported coming from the attic as crews worked to extinguish the fire.

At approximately 5:42 PM, firefighters were dispatched to a second attic fire on Gattman Park Drive. The homeowner reportedly confirmed an active fire after being contacted by their alarm company. Multiple fire units responded and crews made entry into the residence.

Multiple MSFD engines remain on-scene at both locations working to extinguish the fire.

The incidents come as a result of thunderstorms and heavy lightning move through the area. No known injuries have been reported at this time.

🚨 HIGH-SPEED CHASE ENDS IN SERIOUS WRECK

A high-speed pursuit involving Colbert County Deputies just came to a violent end after the eluding suspect crashed in Tuscumbia.

According to radio traffic, deputies initially pursued the vehicle through Colbert County at speeds reportedly well over 100 MPH. The pursuit continued into Muscle Shoals, where Muscle Shoals Police joined in, followed by the Alabama State Troopers (AST).

The suspect continued west-bound on Hwy 72 into Tuscumbia, maintaining speeds exceeding 100 MPH before ultimately crashing just west of Veterans Boulevard. The impact left the driver trapped inside the vehicle, prompting responding units to request fire personnel and medical units for an extrication.

The circumstances that led to the pursuit have not yet been released.

🚨MAN SHOT TWICE DURING BREAK-IN ATTEMPT

According to radio traffic, a male subject reportedly attempted to break into a residence on South Milton Street in Tuscumbia when he was allegedly shot twice by the homeowner.

Radio traffic indicated the subject sustained gunshot wounds to both his left and right foot. Tuscumbia Police officers arrived on scene and located the male subject nearby before investigators and medical personnel responded.

AirEvac was notified and placed on standby pending a weather check, with radio traffic indicating a possible 30-minute estimated arrival time if the helicopter was able to fly. Later radio traffic indicated the patient would instead be transported by ambulance.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and no additional information has been officially released at this time.

🚨 DISTURBANCE INVOLVING TEENS, SHOTS FIRED

Sheffield Police responded Tuesday evening to a reported disturbance involving a group of teenagers in the area of NE 12th Avenue in Sheffield.

According to radio traffic, approximately six to eight juveniles were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. Dispatch advised that one individual was reportedly armed with a baseball bat shortly before advising the group scattered.

During the incident, dispatch also relayed reports that shots had been fired in the area. Officers later made contact with a group of juveniles, located at a nearby gym, believed to be involved in the incident. According to radio traffic, the officers located a firearm with the juveniles.

It is unknown by Shoals Scanner if any injuries, or any arrests were made resulting from the incident.
