Easter Basket cakes. Honey Butter cake with Honey Butter frosting. Delivered to Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry for the homeless on Easter morning.

I've really gotten behind at posting the cakes for Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry 's homeless community. These were delivered for Palm Sunday. They were Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting and Mallocream candies and Pecans.

Peppermint Fudge are today's cakes for the homeless Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry. They should have been for St Patrick's day, but I chose to make these on a warm spring day. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. A beautiful day to take food to a blessing box!

Hazelnut with swirled Nutella frosting went to Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry for the homeless today. It's a beautiful day to drop some canned goods in your neighborhood blessing box.

KING CAKE is the traditional cake of Mardi Gras. These were made especially for the homeless at Southern Legacy Assembly this morning. Have you been to Mardi Gras?

Chocolate Covered Cherry are today's cakes for the homeless at Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry. I usually make them in 3 layer with a cherry layer between two milk chocolate layers. Since that won't work for a 9×13, these have the two flavors marbled together. The cherry batter contains real marichino cherries. The silly string drizzle is cherry flavored also.

Last Sunday's cakes were Chocolate Banana, this time with Vanilla Wafers drizzled with a chocolate glaze.

Sunday's cakes for the homeless were Strawberry Preserves. Shed a little light on a winter's day and take a few non perishables to Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry.

Scottish Snow Cake has an all butter shortbread cookie bottom, raspberry jam layer, then cake topped with stiff glaze and coconut. It was a challenge to complete these, guessing at measurements from an almost 200 year old recipe. I took these to the homeless at Southern Legacy Assembly Food Ministry. this morning.
