Everyone knows that candy isn’t good for your teeth because of the generally high amounts of sugar. However, aside from being full of sugar, hard candy can put your teeth at risk because they are so rigid, and a lot of people try to chew them. According to the American Dental Association, hard candy can cause dental emergencies like broken or chipped teeth. A few other “foods” that can be damaging are sour candy, chewy candy, ice, soda and coffee.
