Giddypigs Caviary

My friend Pat Hogan has passed away.

I met Pat and her husband Jamie many decades ago in the guinea pig world. Both gifted and gentle judges and both always willing to help with anything.

The Hogans are one of those magical duos who loved people, animals, the world around them, and each other fiercely and steadfastly, and you could always tell they only wanted to be together.

My heart is breaking for Jamie, this wrenching loss of a soulmate leaves a jagged maw in your heart that can never be completely healed.

Rest well, sweet Pat. You are loved so deeply by so many, and the world is a little sadder today.
