The 911 Communications Center is central dispatch for 29 police agencies, 19 fire departments and 4 emergency medical ambulance services across Genesee County.
Each year we direct over half a million 911 emergency calls – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Genesee County 9-1-1 Center dispatches for 26 Police, 19 Fire & 4 Ambulance services to the citizens of Genesee County, excluding the City of Fenton. New Mission Statement:

Two years ago today, our Genesee County 911 family changed forever when we lost one of our dedicated supervisors, Mike “Buck” Trieger.
The dispatch floor has never been the same without his infectious humor that could break up even the most stressful days.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for North/Central Genesee Coutny until 2:00pm. Areas include, Flushing, Mount Morris, Clio, Otisville, Thetford Township and the City of Flint. Seek shelter if you are in one of these areas.
We are aware there may be some carrier issues happening and are working to resolve the problem. If you have an emergency and need to call 911 DO NOT HANG UP if you do not immediately hear the ring, stay on the line and a call taker will be there to help you.
