Sabrina is heartworm negative 🥳🥳🥳🥳
We are so excited about this! It’s always a nice surprise when a dog we rescue from living outside, without prevention tests negative.
Her f***l test did come back positive for hookworms but that’s no bid deal. She will start on medication for that today.
Thank you Allie for transporting to her appointment.
P.s obviously everyone at the vet fell in love with her.

Heartworm positive ❤️‍🩹
Years of neglect at the end of a chain, this blind boy finally went to the vet for possibly the first time in his life.
His results came back positive for heartworm and roundworms. He also has an appointment scheduled with an ophthalmologist for a consult/exam on his eyes.
Rescuing dogs like Mayhem is not cheap. We have multiple dogs rescued from neglect going to the vet this week. The bills add up. If you are able to donate we appreciate it, and so do the dogs.
We couldn’t save them without your help ❤️

Thank you Kelly for taking Roscoe to the vet today! He got his booster vaccines and has gained some weight. He still has a long way to go but he’s making progress.
Recheck with the cardiologist July 7th!
Thank you to his foster, everyone that has helped transport, donated towards vet bills/meds and sent him his special food and supplements!
Rescue takes a village ❤️

Sabrina is the happiest girl for literally no reason other than being clean, fed and loved. She doesn’t need much. Someone is going to be so lucky to adopt her.

Please help our friends at Serenity Canine Advocacy Rescue & Rehab. They took one of the puppies we found today!

🚨 Emergency Intake 🚨

Meet Java Bean ☕🤎

While doing outreach with MPEP Outreach Programs, we came across four young puppies suffering from mange and trying to survive on the streets. Three of the puppies were taken in by animal control, and Serenity Canine Advocacy Rescue & Rehab is stepping up for this sweet girl.

Java Bean is approximately 5 months old. She has mostly adult teeth with just a few baby teeth remaining, and it’s clear she hasn’t had much positive human interaction in her short life. Catching these puppies was no easy task, and she’s understandably scared and unsure of people right now.

Despite everything she’s been through, she deserves a chance to learn that humans can be kind, safe, and loving.

We urgently need a foster home for Java Bean where she can decompress, heal, and begin building confidence. A quieter home would be ideal while she adjusts to life off the streets.

If you’d like to help this little girl start her journey toward a better life, please fill out our foster application:

❤️ Even if you can’t foster, please share to help us find her a safe place to land.

Whoop whoop! FOUR puppies rescued from the streets of Flint ❤️
We were in Flint doing outreach and these puppies started running around us. We caught them one by one. Two of them are terrified of people. One has a skin condition and is in rough shape. It was a scramble to catch them they were taking off trying to hide.
We are covered in p*e and a**l gland juices, they were so scared they couldn’t help it.
Three of them are now safe at Animal control! One is going to Serenity Canine Advocacy Rescue & Rehab!
Shoutout to the officer that answered our call and let them into Animal Control so we could get these babies off the streets!
We do try our best to not send dogs to AC, we work hard to find rescues or fosters but in a pinch they are better off there than left behind on the streets.
Without fosters or other rescues help we are running out of options.

Today we applied over 120 doses of flea prevention to dogs in need. We need more for next month. 89lbs please! They can be found on our Amazon wishlist.

Pictures from last weeks outreach as we are getting ready for another long one today ❤️
We were able to get TWO owner surrenders, Mayhem and Sabrina.
It’s time to reapply flea prevention to every single dog we see (about 125). It makes for a long day but we are here to get it done. If you want to send more flea prevention for next month we really need frontline 89lbs from our wishlist! Keeping fleas off the dogs in the sunner is a uphill battle. It’s not their fault their owners make them live outside. We try to keep them as comfortable as possible.

Roscoe needs more of his food!
Roscoe has cardiomyopathy and to rule out it’s not from nutrition he has to be on a special diet.
If anyone would like to send us a bag of the Hills Science Diet that’s on our Amazon wishlist it would be appreciated!
We also had to refill his heart medication for 239$. Receipt in comments.
Thank you guys for always supporting us ❤️
