At Action Traffic Maintenance, our team works every day to keep Michigan’s roads safe. Today, we wear orange to stand with the men and women who work every day in Michigan’s road construction zones. These are our teammates, friends, and family members working to keep our roads safe and moving.

Work zones are temporary—but the impact of a moment’s distraction can be permanent. Slow down, stay alert, and give our crews the space they need to get home safely.

The most common causes of work zone crashes are speeding and distracted driving. Protect Michigan's road workers by slowing down and paying attention in work zones.

It’s 2026 National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW), and this year’s theme is simple: “Safe Actions Save Lives.”
