Good morning good people! Today is our last day running our Sack-n-Shelter program for this year! R.I.S.E. will continue to plan and develop programs that serve our community so stay tuned for the next project which will be before the start of Winter. On behalf of our board members, partners and volunteers RISE Community Outreach would like to thank each and everyone who helped start up and run this program! Have a fantastic fall season and stay tuned as we continue to Renovate, Innovate, Strategize, and Empower our community together! ❤️✊🏽💪🏽☝🏽🙏🏽😊

Sitting here at Factory Two working on some projects for our Making Saturdays Awesome youth program using simple items like popsicle sticks, rubber bands, glue and plastic spoons. We want to give them something they can build themselves with using affordable tools to do it as we teach them STEM projects and ways they can generate money using their own creativity.

Sack-n-Shelter is reaching it's final weeks, but we still have new visitors showing up to grab a lunch, get some coffee, grab some clothes and self care items, relax and catch up on sports or TV shows and gets some good vibes from our volunteers!

This coming Saturday. If youre in the area, come and get your child a few supplies, hair do’s & cuts, snacks and refreshments. Also, THE BLESSING CLOSET WILL BE OPEN right here at 2109 Martin Luther King Ave. Flint Mi 48507! Come and see us so that we can provide our children a R.I.S.E. Toward a fresh new start this school year.
